Motorway and national roadsTowing on the A1 motorway and the DN69
Our base in Dumbrăvița is a few minutes from the A1 Giarmata junction (the “Timișoara Nord” exit) – which makes motorway call-outs routine for us, not the exception. We recover cars from the A1 in both directions – towards Arad–Nădlac and towards Lugoj–Deva – including from the motorway rest areas, and we cover the Remetea Mare junction too.
Just as often we’re out on the DN69 (Calea Aradului, towards Sânandrei, Orțișoara and Arad) and the DN6 – busy transit roads where a breakdown doesn’t wait for office hours.
We handle motorway distances pragmatically: read us the kilometre marker or send your location on WhatsApp, and we tell you which direction we’re coming from and the full price to your chosen destination. For cars stuck in the A1 rest areas – seized brakes, a dead battery, a flat discovered on restart – we come straight to the parking area; you don’t need to move the car anywhere.
What to do if you’re stranded on the A1? The golden rules: pull onto the hard shoulder as far right as you can, switch on the hazard lights, put on the reflective vest before getting out, set up the warning triangle at the regulation distance and wait behind the guardrail, not in the car. If there’s an accident with injuries, call 112 first. Then call us and send your location – we’ll handle the rest.
